Belfast Castle and Cavehill Country Park
For generations, Cave Hill has been synonymous with Belfast, with its imposing outline visible throughout the city. The landmark, named for the five caves located on the side of the cliffs, contains a wealth of natural, archaeological and historical features, including Belfast Castle.
Survey notes from November 2019:
- Orienteering posts 2, 7, 8, 9 and 16 are missing.
- Orienteering post 12 is on the south side of the gully, not the top of the gully.
- Orienteering post 13 is located approx 50m NW at a path junction.
- Orienteering post 15 is at the bottom of the re-entrant, not the top of the re-entrant.
