Bolam Lake

Deciduous woodland and open areas surrounding the lake. The ground rises to the north of the lake, but no extended steep climbs.

Paths vary from pushchair-friendly to informal woodland paths.

12/11/25 It has come to our notice that some areas to the west of the lake have been closed off for works. We hope to determine soon whether this affects the Permanent Course.

Some new paths have been installed at the west end, but currently do not form part of the course. They are open to the public.
If visiting, keep off the rough grassland which has been replanted with many vulnerable saplings.
