Castle Hill - Beaumont Lodge Primary School
Safety: The area is split into two by A46, where courses cross the A46 you must use the tunnels or bridge. See Safety Assessment Advice Sheet which is to be found at the Gorse Hill start.
Terrain: The area is actively managed by volunteers. The minor paths and woodland change fairly regularly. The area is part of a flood protection scheme and can be very wet and muddy. Castle Hill is an Ancient Monument and the landscape is being preserved.
Score Course: For a Score course you find as many as you can in 45 minutes and get penalties if you are late.
