Clumber Park (NT)
Clumber Park is a beautiful expanse of parkland, heath and woods covering more than 3,800 acres owned by the National Trust.
Clumber was once the country estate of the Dukes of Newcastle.
The Clumber Park Family Course takes you through the Pleasure Grounds of Clumber Park passing historic landmarks such as the Gothic-style chapel and magnificent lake. Please note: post no. 3 is missing and will be replaced as soon as possible (February 2025).
The Clumber Park Medium MapRun course is about 2.5 km long. The course is available as a MapRun smartphone, see details below.

Entry fee to Clumber Park, National Trust members free. Follow signs for parking. The Start and finish is close to the Visitor Centre. Facilities include a cafe, shop and walled kitchen garden. Other activities include walking, running, cycling and special events.
Clumber's mosaic of habitats is home to an amazing array of wildlife.

The Medium MapRun course is a 120-minute score course. 20 points per control, 10 points lost for every minute late.

Start the MapRun app when close to start, tap Events Near Me or Select Event and browse to the
UK/Nottinghamshire/Clumber Park folder.
We suggest that you download and print the course map above that has all the virtual control markers, but you can just use the one on your phone. Select Go to Start when ready.
When you are close to the Start (the triangle marked on the map) the phone will beep, the Start triangle changes to green and your time will begin.
