Other Things to do in the Area

The wood itself is a great place to enjoy - lots of footpaths, picnic spots, and bird viewing areas.  The woods are on the edge of the lovely town of Doune which has a Community & Heritage Centre, Distillery, Castle (famous in Monty Python!), and numerous cafes, shops, bars and restaurants.
