Draycote Water Country Park
The Draycote Water MapRun and Permanent Orienteering courses are located in Draycote Water Country Park. This 24-acre country park provides plenty of space to play games and enjoy the outdoors. The Hensborough hill top provides spectacular views and is a great place for a picnic. An excellent café /restaurant is located on-site in the Visitor Hub.

The short and medium courses offer a simple navigation challenge suitable for beginners or novice orienteers. The courses have been designed to be interesting and to encourage people to explore the park. A compass is not necessary to navigate round the course but may be used should you wish.

Please be aware of the dangers of traffic in the park and young children should be closely supervised.
The site is open every day (except Christmas day) from 7.30-18:30 (Summer: April-October) or 7.30–16:30 (Winter: November-March).
There is a Cafe at the Visitor Hub overlooking the large reservoir. Visitor Hub hours: 10:00-17:00 (16:00 in the Winter).
In the Country Park, there is an extensive Children's Play Area.
It is 7.8 km around the reservoir perimeter road, which you can run, walk or cycle. Dogs are allowed in the Country Park but not around the reservoir.
There is a thriving private sailing club and fishing available too.
