Foxton Locks
The Restricted mobility course is suitable for wheelchairs finishes in the southern (long stay) car park and starts at the Museum There are several refreshment outlets on site: Top Cafe, Foxton Locks Inn and Bridge 61
Foxton Locks - An idyllic canal side location to explore. From the viewing platform see if you can spot the remains of the historic hidden Inclined Plane which was once a spectacular chair lift for boats! Sneak a peek at the colourful boats, count the locks at the really long Lock Flight, take a boat trip, or just sit back and relax at the pubs, café or picnic spots.

Safety: There are deep locks which may be full of water, there are ponds which feed the locks. The site from the museum is steep downhill. See safety assessment sheet.
