Kings Park
Kings Park is an attractive, quiet, town park, gently undulating. Ideal for beginners. Near Pokesdown station.
Open all the year. Free parking.
There are three courses on the map:
Short 0.5km - This is designed to enable an adult to observe a youngster running alone through the whole course. It is of easy (white) standard.
Medium 1.0km - This course also allows observation and is of easy (white) standard.
Long 2.0km - A longer course, a little more tricky (yellow) standard.

When open (see above), the café in the Athletics centre sells maps (approx £1.00) but it's best to download and print one yourself, as above.
Café & toilets in Athletics stadium building. Open weekend April-September and weekends in summer holidays.
Very nice children's playground near the car park.
Bournemouth Parks Garden Centre opposite the car park.

Indoor Bowling centre.
Athletics stadium & Bournemouth F.C. stadium also on the grounds.
Directions: Leave Boscombe eastwards on the A35 (Christchurch Rd). After Pokesdown Station, traffic lights first left into Clarence Park Rd & straight on to car park.
