Kings Wood, High Wycombe
King's Wood is a pretty forested area in High Wycombe. The orienteering map of the area was beautifully redrawn by Jegor Kostylev, one of the country's highest-ranked orienteers, in the summer of 2016. It is at a scale of 1:5000 and needs to be printed on A3 paper (or two sheets of A4). The accompanying control descriptions suggest various courses using the permanent controls on the map. There are courses starting from car parks at either Cock Lane, near the council offices (Grid ref SU898937) or at the bottom of Kingswood Rd (Grid ref SU891941)
