Restored Victorian Urban Park with a network of hard surfaces and some less formal paths.
Control Markers have four separate codes to allow for successive visits.
Some control sites are accessible with a pushchair or accompanied wheelchair (some inclines)
27/2/25: Control 41 has been moved to the top of a circular waste bin on the other side of the path. The map pack will be amended as soon as possible.
Car Parking: Roadside (considerately please) on King Edward Road or Tynemouth Rd.
Metro: Tynemouth (0.5 km.) (exit Platform 1 & turn left) NOTE: Northumberland Park Metro Station is several miles away at an unrelated development.
Bus to Park entrances: King Edward Rd (306 Newcastle to Tynemouth) or Tynemouth Rd (1 Whitley Bay to Metrocentre)
