Rockwell Local Nature Reserve

Rockwell Local Nature Reserve is located in the Skerne area of Darlington. The mapped area includes the nature reserve, which is a combination of urban parkland and wilder area of woods and ponds, and a large area of domestic housing estates. The river Skerne runs through the LNR.

The courses are split into two groups, North and South. The Northern set all start and finish in the car park of the Springfield pub at DL1 2RB. The Southern set all start and finish in an adhoc parking area at the eastern end of the nature reserve at DL1 2BG.

The FYW maps are suitable for beginners and the FYW short course is wheelchair suitable.
