Rough Castle Estate, Falkirk Wheel
Enjoy running around the forest south of the Falkirk Wheel. Here you will find yourself deep in history, running along the ancient Antonie Wall.
There are three courses available (revised Dec 2024):
Short Course 1.8k
A relatively simple course for beginners or families with small children. Find the controls in order. It will probably take you between 15 and 45 minutes depending the age of your group.
Medium Course 2.6k
A further, more challenging course where you will need good navigation skills.
Long Course 3.6k
The longest and most challenging course. You will need good navigation skills for this as you will need to leave the paths to find some controls.
Depending on your navigational skills and fitness this could take between 30 and 60 minutes.
