Sizergh North - LOC Maprun Challenge Novice

The Lakeland Orienteering Club Maprun Challenge is a series of novice anytime-orienteering courses to complete and capture using the Maprun app on your smartphone.   

All the Maprun Challenge courses are suitable for beginners to navigate by following line features such as paths, walls and fences.

The Sizergh North collection of courses explore lovely woodland and meadow areas and make use of the Holeslack accessible route.  

We have additional Maprun Challenge courses exploring the southern part of the estate.

Please take extra care around livestock. 

Sizergh North White course stays on the paths with controls at every path junction.  It is 1.7km in length with 11 controls to find. 

Sizergh North Yellow course follows paths and may use other line features.  It is 2.5km in length with 11 controls to find. 

Sizergh North Orange course has the option to cut corners between linear features.  It is 3.4km in length with 12 controls to find. 

Sizergh North Score course allows you to choose your own route to visit as many controls as you can and reach the finish within the 30 minute time limit.
