Other Things to do in the Area

Sizergh is a beautiful medieval house set in a 1,600-acre estate containing wetlands, limestone pasture, ancient woodland, farmland and orchards and home to a variety of wildlife and flowers.  The manor is filled with items collected by 26 generations of the Strickland family, including the internationally recognised Inlaid Chamber.   There are delightful gardens including a mirror lake, colourful herbaceous borders, a working kitchen garden, an apple orchard and a limestone rock garden.

There is plenty of parking, free for NT members but a charge applies otherwise.  On-site there is a gift shop, a 2nd hand book store & a cafe.
