Walltown Crags Country Park in classic Roman Wall Country on Hadrian's Wall National Trail.
Former quarry with wooded areas, water and rock features, good path network (mainly hard surface wide enough for wheelchairs/pushchairs) and runnable open areas.
Northumberland National Park Information centre, light refreshments (seasonal) & toilets.
On the route of AD122 Hadrian's Wall Bus route (essentially hourly) linking sites between Chesters Fort and Walltown with Hexham and Haltwhistle - seasonal Easter to September.
Bus & Rail connections: Hexham & Haltwhistle.
